The role
Syncio is looking for a Growth Marketer to join our team and play a pivotal role in accelerating customer acquisition, product adoption and revenue growth.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on experimentation, loves digging into data to uncover insights, and gets energised by turning those insights into action. You'll own critical parts of our growth engine, from building lifecycle marketing flows that guide users through activation, to running paid acquisition experiments that help us discover new scalable channels.
Day to day, you'll be hands-on: setting up email automations, launching ad campaigns, analysing cohort performance, and iterating based on what the data tells you. You'll work closely with our Head of Growth to identify the highest-impact opportunities and ship solutions that directly impact our key growth metrics.
This is an exciting opportunity for a T-shaped marketer with a bias toward action to make a meaningful impact in a fast-growing, bootstrapped company where your work will be felt immediately by thousands of merchants globally.
What you will do
- Run paid acquisition experiments and scale new growth channels
- Launch and manage disciplined channel experiments across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and newsletter sponsorships.
- Set clear hypotheses, success criteria, and kill criteria for each experiment, then execute, monitor, and scale what works.
- Balance CAC targets with quality metrics to unlock paid channels that drive engaged users.
- Design lifecycle marketing and activation optimisation campaigns
- Work closely with the Product team to design behavioural triggers, in-app messaging, and segmentation logic that increase product engagement and retention over time.
- Build and optimise event-based communication sequences (email, in-app, etc.) that guide users through their journey, delivering the right message at the right time based on user actions and behaviour patterns.
- Continuously test, measure, and iterate on lifecycle initiatives to improve activation rates, reduce time-to-value, and increase conversion to paid plans.
- Use data to uncover insights and drive strategy
- Dive into analytics to understand user behaviour, identify conversion leaks, and uncover growth opportunities.
- Track performance across the funnel and use cohort analysis to inform strategy.
- Collaborate with the team to define success metrics and report on progress toward growth targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create a cohesive growth engine
- Partner with Product and Design to advocate for features and improvements that boost activation and reduce friction.
- Work with our Content Writer to align messaging across channels and create assets for campaigns.
- Collaborate with CX to understand user pain points and translate insights into both marketing initiatives and product feedback.
- Contribute to growth strategy and help shape the roadmap based on learnings from your experiments and user research.
Who we are looking for
- 2-3 years of hands-on growth marketing experience - You've worked in performance marketing, lifecycle marketing, or growth roles. B2B SaaS experience is a bonus.
