The role

Syncio is looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to become an integral part of our product engineering team and help build the next frontier of commerce.

You’ll work closely with Syncio's founder, CTO, and other pivotal team members, directly shaping the future of our product by integrating your technical insights into our strategic direction.

You'll dive into high-impact projects from day one, using your full-stack expertise to develop and deploy solutions that enhance functionality, performance, and security of our platform.

This role is crucial for fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring seamless communication in our remote-first, multi-timezone environment. You will be a leader who sets the standard for technical excellence and a team player who ensures that everyone stays aligned on our collective goals.

What you will do

• Become an integral part of the product engineering team
  • Work with the founder, CTO, engineering lead, product manager, designer, and CX specialists (basically everyone) to define Syncio’s feature and product set.
  • Influence product decisions by bringing technical insights into conversations about product direction and technical roadmap.
  • You will be working on projects start to finish.
• Drive technical excellence
  • Develop and deploy full-stack solutions that enhance the platform's functionality, performance, and security.
  • The work split is 70% frontend and 30% Backend.
  • Drive high code quality through robust reviews, automated testing, and proactive resolution of performance bottlenecks.
• Take DevOps to the next level
  • Optimise and monitor infrastructure and manage autoscale and lambda AWS services, but not limited to just these.
• Enable cross-team collaboration to flourish across multiple time zones
  • High-quality communicator and team player in a remote-first environment.
